Sorry, I have been completely unmotivated to write last weekend's wrap-up. In fact, I'd rather forget last weekend's games … except for two highlights. So let's start with those.
The first is a video that got a lot of play online:

The other highlight was when the student-run ASU webcast graphics referred to UNO as "NOM" (Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks), leading to all sorts of fun stuff on Twitter. Here's the tweet that started it all:

The games themselves were nothing to write home about. The Mavs were swept (again), losing 6-3 to the Sun Devils on Friday, and on the wrong side of the 7-2 score on Saturday.

Looking Ahead to This Weekend:
The Mavs start conference play against Miami of Ohio this weekend with a pair of games at Baxter Arena. Friday night's game will air statewide on NET Nebraska (here's a link to the online NET Nebraska webcast – we'll also provide it in our series preview blog post). Both games this weekend will also be on NCHC.tv ($).
