After a bye week, the Mavs return to action at Baxter Arena on Thanksgiving weekend against #16 Arizona State, a team that swept the Mavs on the road a few weeks ago. The Mavs are .500 in conference play (and the split against Western Michigan looks even better with the Broncos' sweep of North Dakota last week in Grand Forks). The Mavericks are 2-7-1 overall and facing a Sun Devil team that has cooled off a bit after a loss and overtime win on the road against Harvard last weekend.
This College Hockey News article about last week's Harvard-ASU series emphasized the importance of goaltending, a topic that has been heavily mentioned recently among Mav fans: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2018/11/20_Arizona-State-Harvard-Series.php
