Coming off a sweep of Arizona State, the Mavs return to action at Baxter Arena for the last home series before the team's holiday break. (They will be on the road next week at St. Cloud.)
NCHC teams return to conference play this weekend. The Mavs are .500 in conference play (2-2-0) and 4-7-1 overall. The Tigers are 1-5-0 in the NCHC and are 5-6-1 overall.
Don't forget that Saturday night is the annual Sheila Leahy Toys for Tots Collection Drive. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate (or give cash) to the Marines and volunteers collecting donations.
