If his time in Prince Albert is any indication, Aiden Oiring has a chance to become a fan favorite in Omaha.
The 21-year-old forward was named the Prince Albert Raiders’ “Fan Favourite” (Canadian spelling!) in each of his final two seasons. He played every game he possibly could during his three-and-a-half seasons with the Raiders — 235 in the regular season and another 36 in the playoffs.
And he had a lot of points along the way.
Oiring finished his Prince Albert career with 227 points in 235 regular-season games, including 85 goals and 142 assists.
What He Brings to Omaha
Oiring took more faceoffs than any other player during the 2026 WHL playoffs. He won 248 of 435 for a 57 percent success rate.
Oiring scored 57 goals and recorded 154 points over his final two WHL regular seasons.
In March 2025, Oiring scored three consecutive goals to lead Prince Albert to a comeback win, recording the only hat trick of his WHL career. His three goals included a shorthanded goal and the overtime winner.
One Thing to Know
During his final season with the Raiders, Oiring donated $50 to KidSport for every point he scored.
He finished the season with 69 points.
That works out to $3,450.

Oiring recorded 23 points in his first 31 games with the Raiders.
He played all 68 regular-season games in each of his next three seasons.
He scored 50 points in 2023-24 and a career-high 85 points in 2024-25, then added 69 points in his final season.

What We’ll Be Watching
At 5-foot-7 and 181 pounds, he won’t be one of the biggest players on the ice in the NCHC. He’s coming to Omaha after five WHL seasons, including three-and-a-half seasons in Prince Albert without missing a game. (We know a little something about that!)
